Garrett Strand

Born in Iron Mountain, Mi, my family and I moved to Bolivar, Ohio when I was 5 years old. Growing up I spent most of my time enjoying the northeast Ohio wilderness, or playing sports. I graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 2018 as a team captain in football, and as an honor student. 

After high school I moved to Kingsport, Tennessee where I began a career in the NDT field. This was short-lived due to an illness in the family, and the eventual passing of my dad. Afterwards, I decided I wanted to be closer to family so I moved.

Back home, I began working with my mom at her painting business: Strand & Son Services, LLC. This is where my first introduction to real estate occurred because most of her clients were in the market to buy, sell. or invest in the home that we were working on!

A year passed and I, finally, met my wonderful girlfriend, Trinity, who is now the mother of our son, Tyson. Together we live in Bolivar with our German Shepherd, Gunner. It has been so amazing watching our son grow. Seeing him learn everyday from Trinity and I makes me the happiest I can be. They are my driving force. If I am not with my family, I will probably be enjoying time lifting weights or working out, kayaking or boating, or enjoying time with my friends. 

My decision to become a real estate agent was inevitable. When I initially learned the role a Realtor plays in a real estate transaction, I was astonished. I had never really considered how precise all the intricacies of a transaction must be. Once I began to learn about all the different moving parts, different specializations, and the way that a great agent can impact a clients life for the better, I knew this is what I wanted to do.
